  • Knows the route and can lead the way. Coordinates with the Sweeper to keep group together. Sets the pace and works with riders to maintain the pace in a reasonable range.
  • Sweeper knows the route and may stand-in as Leader; coordinates to keep the group together; and works with riders who do not keep-up to find a finish-point.

 D Route 12.7-miler with 230-vertical-feet; a westerly and counterclockwise loop.
